Coming back to it, the end sequence and credit roll just served to remind me about how much I had forgotten about the game. I don’t know if I was on a good end or bad end path, and since you can’t see the whole map at one time I really had no clue where anything would be. Luckily my save was close enough to the final zone and I made the right call to go left instead of right to get me there. Iconoclasts only has the one ending. Going left is the point of no return, going right lets you explore the world one last time. It's a real gem and one of the best solo act games

I got through the third trial in Danganronpa V3 and I was enjoying it, as well as the implications of the kind of dynamic it could lead to post-trial but then they went and ruined that and went with the most boring answer they could think of for Angie's killer, the guy we already proved killed Tenko. I think it would have been more interesting if someone else killed Angie and got punished for it, and by the newly established rule, Kiyo just continues living with everyone else and now they have to deal with that. I don't even want to talk about all the reveals about Kiyo that came about after the trial was over...

I beat (base) Dark Souls III, my first soulsborne (I just have the last boss of BB but gently caress, that means I beat the best Soulsborne). It was a fun ride. Imho the levels are bette put together than DS3 since they have this winding mazelike feel to them. Ironically I felt like most of the game had an inverse problem versus its reputation; enemies generally attack faster but they still have gaping openings while even with a “slow” hand axe/battle axe I could bait an opening and R1 them to death even with a late bloomer pyromancer build. The last fight was super depressing though because it’s how I found out that sorcerers get a literal kamehameha but I’ve heard sorcery sucks so

Feeling pretty good about that. 180 hours in total to beat Bloodborne, DS1, DS2, DS3 and Sekiro.And yeah, I did have a pretty huge worry that me finishing the From series was akin to the phase 3 end of the MCU. A kind of 'now what?' moment and would the games I play next be as entertaining, but there will be many other ridiculous things to watch me flail at. TLOU is coming soon, and I will buy Demons Souls on June the 1st. Plus I have the Surges and Nioh 1 so there will be times to watch me wail on the lesser souls. The last time I played either of those three was right after Bloodborne. I now have the DS1-3 and Sekiro training  Beating games is the goal of streaming for me and it is working well raditts posted:Awww dang, I missed VG finishing Sekiro? Really wanted to see that one, I even went on Twitch yesterday but I didn't see you on I did a short Sekiro stream and then when I finished I took at ten minute break and then started Last Guardian. It might have been during that break. I honestly was not expecting to beat Sekiro so early. I started at 2:00pm and it was 3:45pm when I got the ending.

The few streamers I watch are people i've followed for years that have migrated from youtube to twitch and they very much aren't the GAMER types most associated with streaming. If I was trying to get into it fresh and going through the stuff twitch puts forward as representation? I think i'd give up and assume I wasn't going to like watching streams. I have no advice to give people trying to find content they like other than to say twitch will absolutely push the worst people and content at you because loud obnoxious people make them the most money. Capitalism baby, success is completely divorced from quality.

If anything it kind of makes it easier because armor has a pre-determined weight, so you can assemble a clownsuit once and then just replace the individual pieces with stronger versions as you get them just looking at the defense stat and ignoring all of the other random bonuses. You will eventually unlock a transmogrify thing to make the armor look like any other armor piece so you can play fashion souls, too. Just make sure you aren't going above the lightest weight bracket, not getting hit because you have a million iframes is way better than +10 defense or some poo poo. What mix were you playing at the start of your stream yesterday?
