"Not all", in this case, means 18% of the 223 breakthrough deaths. The remaining 82% are categorized as symptomatic/related to COVID-19.

Remember last year how scared we were at the prospect of the double whammy COVID+influenza, which then never materialized because of the safety theater killing of the flu?

Also the technology underneath it was basically shelved for years because no one deemed it profitable enough until every world government started shoving them money (which is good)

This isn't really news, but I figure some people itt might find the specific quantification of interest:

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/05/18/covid-vaccine-cdc-study-finds-disparities-in-coverage-between-rural-and-urban-areas.html posted:

CDC study finds disparities in Covid vaccine rates between rural and urban areas
People in rural areas are receiving the Covid-19 vaccines at a lower rate than those in urban areas, a CDC study found.
The agency found a lower percentage of adults in rural counties who received at least one shot than in urban counties, at 38.9% and 45.7%, respectively.
The study did not calculate coverage by race and ethnicity, the CDC said.

Aren't there a number of states with anti-public mask laws in place from before the pandemic that criminalized it (ostensibly to stop the Klan but in realty, well, not that)?

The moment the CDC regulations drop and those states decide to bring those back then you won't have a choice in the matter unless you want to be arrested

Depends on if you're white.

Which definitely doesn't also add another factor adding to COVID being higher risk for minorities.

September 11 every five days from covid is completely normal now. The vaccines are 95% effective at preventing spread, everyone wearing a mask is 95% effective at preventing spread, so the CDC lifted the mask mandate. The steady hum of death continues.

probably won't even change attendance much, but now they just won't bother to space groups out when selling tickets

quote:

Many of the Royals’ health and safety protocols from the beginning of the regular season will remain in place, including restrictions on bags and outside food in the stadium. Tickets and parking will only be accessible on mobile devices via the MLB Ballpark app and must be purchased in advance. The stadium will continue to be cashless, meaning a credit or debit card is needed to make on-site purchases.

However, masks will no longer be required for vaccinated fans, but are still recommended for non-vaccinated fans. The Outfield Experience and Hall of Fame will re-open, beginning on May 31.

look, we listened to the science, and the science said this virus spreads through outside food and drink, not respiration
