I've only seen my own spine scans (I've got degenerative disc disease) so I'm not an expert but if I'm correct, he's pretty much got several discs that are just loving... Gone here, right?

He was in horrible pain, they couldn't get any vet to come look at him and had trouble finding any vet that would treat a pig. I guess Cash Wheeler offered to come load him into his truck if they could find somewhere to treat him. She said she was like, driving to RAW while trying to comfort Larry-Steve over speakerphone. They finally got someone to give the poor pig some pain medicine but it still wasn't recommended to move him until the next day and he passed away in the interim. I always thought it was cool that she didn't just have some cute little pot bellied piglet or whatever and treated that animal so well even after it became a massive beast.

I have known two people with pet pigs and for both of them it was an essentially traumatic experience; even if you’re prepared for the size (teacup pigs are not real), they develop medical problems that really hurt their quality of life and it is expensive/time consuming to work with a livestock vet

Yeah apparently most pet vets won't see pigs over a certain size, and livestock vets don't really treat pigs because they aren't a high value farm animal.
