So much plate and chain. It’ll be an anchor around your neck trying to gear out later on, depending how much PoP+ content you see yourself sticking around for. If you’re going with melee and want a zerker, get a monk in there, if only just to soak the leather drops you’d otherwise rot. I'm excited to check this out but even launching the EQ launcher from Steam shows a broken/all black page on the launcher window. Anyone else seeing this or should I try re-installing?

Anyone else seeing this or should I try re-installing? Launcher commonly implodes under pressure/maintenance. You can bypass the launcher by creating a special shortcut. Point the shortcut to eqgame.exe and add "patchme" to the target without quotes. Bypassing the launcher restores the original login screen. Useful for when launcher is broken.

Just getting up and around(night shifter), and the servers are down. Figured I would have some issues. I still can't decide on what to play anyway  Probably just gonna go with a Mage and a druid. Edit: To be in the queue for the sever do I click the OK button the message and just at the login server page or do I leave the window with the OK button up? edit 2: I am dumb and half asleep. I tried dual boxing with my tablet and it's a huge pain in the rear end right now. Might give it a shot later when there less stress on the login servers. I am wandering around on Thornblade as a Human Wizard named Bolt. If you want to kill some stuff hit me up

I can't even log in, the launcher partially loads with dead links and if I try to log in by skipping the launcher I get a cannot connect error. Pretty brutal, definitely killed my excitement for this.

What I'm finding is that disconnections for your boxes seem to be much more frequent than they used to be. Otherwise I'm all logged in and was able to get all of my 6 boxes setup and running around West Freeport killin rats and snakes! I have been working on my HotKeyNet macros and my boxes keep getting the shaft, so will be playing with that for a while. Lots of people talking poo poo about boxers and being otherwise terrible in general chat so as usual, general chat is to be avoided.

I really want to go full box army and get a six monitor/pc set up. My biggest issue with playing is I just don't really have time to wait on groups, be available for raids etc. But I'd love to do xp and stuff as my own group. And maybe join a guild and raid one day a week or just join a super casual guild. But I won't start until the new server stuff is sorted out. And of course I'd need to acquire five more computers haha.

It kinda helped I guess. I grouped in blackburrow most of the night. Was just like the old days! Made it to level 8, then turned In 40ish gnoll fangs so I'm pretty close to 9 now. I am really enjoying the TLP so far. Haven't been bothered by box squads at all. I've seen a few though. The login issues seem to be fixed. Anyone else on Thornblade or did you all go Mischief? Had a good start on Mischief yesterday, soloed my Druid up to level 9 in Misty. Gonna hit 10 for SoW today for sure. Also snagged a Pristine Giant Scarab Carapace so a road trip to Butcherblock is in my near future! This has already been an awesome nostalgia trip and I’m barely getting started! Should make it to the Karanas within the next day or two and I plan to live there for quite some time.

Do we have any info yet on of the Random loot is working? Does it appear that a Rare's loot table is randomized every time it has spawned? Does it still have a chance to drop its normal loot table as well? Or does it seem like mobs just had loot tables swapped? Not going to play until next month which is fine, because Kunark will be out and I can roll an iksar, I was just curious if we have any hard info yet on the loot rules.
