In case anyone missed the Puro thread for some reason, Gatoh Move have a match on the Michinoku Pro Korakuen show which happens next Friday. It is the rare Michi Pro to make tape, on the 12th June, so if you want a chance to see Best Bros vs Emi and Yuna at the mecca of Japanese wrestling, you can.

We're going to be celebrating the birthdays of both the Best Bros! (Both of them were actually born on the same day: May 30th! Keep in mind, we're half a day behind Japan's timezone!) Baliyan Akki & Mei Suruga are the Asia Dream Tag Champions, a pair of rivals turned partners that have laid waste to the tag division of Ichigaya (in a string of spectacular bouts, mind you) and have even defended against some powerful guests! While they have their sights set on the Tag Team Destroyers (Minoru Fujita & Rina Yamashita, a deadly pair!), the Best Bros will first have to survive a Gauntlet made to test their mettle...a vicious gift given to them by Emi Sakura! Can the champs hope to survive this impossible task, especially given the unknown element? (Not only a mystery team, but the order is unknown as well!) Mei Suruga is a pin specialist and submission connoisseur, having recently celebrated her Third Anniversary over her oldest rival, Haruka Umesaki. Mei is shockingly talented for her age, undoubtedly destined for greatness in the Joshi scene...though she has her eyes set on a different prize: popularity in AEW! Baliyan Akki is the Ace of the promotion, a breezy and carefree technician who excels at everything that is put in front of him. Don't make him get serious! Not only does Akki handle the translations for ChocoPro, he also manages to always perform at an increasingly high level! The way he strings techniques together is truly astounding. These two seem near untouchable at their current height of power, but this event is going to be a true test of their place in the world! Good luck, Best Bros!

EGG TART is dangerous enough on their own, let alone in a Gauntlet! The fan favorite polar opposite team has a bizarre but perfect chemistry that can't be put into words. Chie Koishikawa brings a cheerful flair and an unpredictable amount of fury. She is called Too Much Energy for a reason! This Frantic Fencer's backhand fencing chops have brought low monsters and demons alike! Hagane Shinno brings a cold, calculated destruction that will remind you of the ravages of winter. Silent, beautiful, uncaring. Simply a force of nature! (He's canonically beautiful by the way, Emi introduced him once as such) His relentless ferocity has yet to find an equal in Ichigaya. These two strikers are on a war path, with Chie having been tested against the AWG Colors invaders...and Hagane having never been defeated in Singles action in ChocoPro! Together, EGG TART just...works. The opposing energies balance one another out to a degree that has shown a bit of each's personality beginning to change the other! What does the future hold for this pairing? They were named after an incident where a drunken Chie stole a certain pastry from Hagane, by the way.

Like a poisonous flower, Beauty As Is is a deadly combination! Emi Sakura & Yunamon function as if they were a long standing team, the two bitter rivals turned allies having overcome their differences in order to deal out punishment to their enemies. Emi has been cranking up her already high level of in ring skill, showing off brand new counters and speed previous thought impossible for the Queen! Unfortunately, the effects of the Pencil War will be present on both members of this team...but more so on Emi. She still hasn't fully recovered from her shoulder damage (taking on Chris Brookes twice in a short period of time would weaken anyone!) and hopefully taking an Episode off has helped. Luckily, she is being backed up by the Season 1 MVP who is fresh from battles elsewhere! (Did you see her performance at GanPro? It was awesome!) Tropical Yahho! Yunamon is a sing song powerhouse who loves Pineapples, Evangelion, and flashy strikes! You'll be jumping out of your seat if you get to see one of her mighty lariatropicals or spinning back kicks! This Stan Hansen fan is so charismatic that is is hard not to get swept away by her summery nature. When these two work together, even the Champs struggle to keep them down...

Othello (as Otoki & Sayaka have chosen as their team name) was named as such due to the color of the team's gear! The Super Rookie Otoki wears primarily Black and Cosplayer & Monster Slayer Sayaka wears primarily white! (Othello is an old black & white board game, look it up!) This rare combination hasn't been seen on ChocoPro yet, though they have some experience together back in Gatoh Move! These two have changed dramatically since then, especially Otoki. Tokiko �Otoki� Kirihara stands out from the rest of the Fourth Generation because she's such a straight forward fighter! While she might indulge in her signature COMANECI taunt and occasionally get a bit silly with Antonio Honda in Black Comaneci, Otoki is a far more realistic (and brutal) combatant than many that attend Ichigaya. With her talent in Judo and Kickboxing, it is best not to take her lightly! The bearer of ChocoPro's most impressive Six-Pack is definitely on the rise. Sayaka on the other hand is the most recent of the 4th Gen to join ChocoPro. While she had more time away than the rest, you wouldn't know it from her warm charisma and pinpoint dropkicks! It is very exciting to see Sayaka in play now, since a lot of her story is yet to be written! This cheery rookie keeps adding more and more to her arsenal. She will keep growing! How will this team mesh together in the current era?

Chon Shiryu & Lulupencil is an interesting pairing. Chon, the Dragon of ChocoPro, is a kung fu specialist who is both extremely flashy to watch and incredibly efficient at his job. Chon's unique strikes and artful dodges make him a dangerous foe in any given situation, but this Gatoh Move veteran seems to thrive in Tag action lately! (He is usually associated with the fan favorite team DRAGON NINJA, but Sayuri is currently taking care of a minor ankle injury). It is always a joy to see a new fan experiencing the Dragon's style for the first time, since he is so different from the mainstream we're used to! While he tends to have chemistry with whoever he is placed with, this is actually a first time team combo! Lulupencil (the Leader of Pencil Army) is known for her losses, but did you know she actually has a handful of tag team victories? (Primarily with Otoki!) While she might not be the one scoring the pinfall or submission (probably due to her extremely low physical attributes, all the points went into willpower and charisma!) Lulupencil is known for her ability to motivate others. The ultimate underdog, watching Lulu wrestle (usually taking on foes way out of her league) is like seeing living art. Lulupencil is hard to explain. How does she cook up those tactics? How can she take such huge amounts of punishment? How does she form such a strong connection with the audience so quickly? Despite the recent setbacks against Chris Brookes, Lulu will keep marching forward. We simply need to believe in her.

Who could the mystery team be? There are a lot of possibilities, even if you just take the missing ChocoPro roster into account! Not to mention the possibilities opened by the door to AWG...but if I had to take a stab in the dark, I'd say dream big! But don't be afraid of heartbreak.
