Ok forget the classic part, EQ remastered - I imagine they would let the purists have their current servers, and do a modern update to it for us grumpy old asses. I think there's a decent size of gamers who played as teens and would play again if it was modernized a bit. Plus Daybreak likes to make bad decisions.

I'd play EQ3. EQ2 was the first MMO my wife and I played together so I have a lot of nostalgia for it.

I lost just about all my characters in EQ2 (my froglok sk lives on though) but I'm still tempted to sub to EQ2 and play even though it'd be a 100% solo experience.

I will always have a soft spot for EQ2, but the current iteration is just mind-numbing amount of progression mechanics. Just so much to keep track of to even be competitive in group content, don't know how people keep up for raiding.
