Most of the impetus there is because people perceived a threat that a thread or subforum they like spending time in would be closed. They got all upset and feel like they have to run into a thread and do something about it to show that there's not an actual consensus. My point is that there is no real long term threat to SA subcommunities (forums, subforums, threads) beyond the possibility that one chooses to make a post bad enough that you get kicked off the forums. Mods might do stupid things and delete or remove threads but they'll get reversed by the admins and/or Jeffery. Vim Fuego has issued a correction as of 18:14 on May 29, 2021 |
