I think AEW allowing for wrestlers to have a job outside of AEW other than wrestling training schools would help out a lot with the camaraderie in the locker room - less of the "this is all I have, I have to defend it with my life" type of desperation.

It's always interesting to see what wrestlers do for a job if they can't survive on wrestling. I recall Tim Thatcher works in a water treatment plant. Kevin Steen worked in a warehouse. Davey Richards was a paramedic. Candice Lerae was a baker for a theme park. I know Orange supposedly had a good job that made it tempting to turn down AEW. I remember TNA also had a Knockouts champ who worked Sunglass Hut and demanded she quit because it made them look bad for paying her poorly. A real shame AEW was immediately cancelled and went out of business, looking forward to watching a Peacock documentary about how WWE heroically fought back against all odds to defeat them by booking Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley for 82 straight weeks in a row.
