yes but there's an extra step where you remove all the spikes then put them back in just with less iron (because germany needs it for the war effort) and that's why it's called a jungfrau, "maiden", instead.

Problem #4: At this rate of increase, how many strips are needed before the estimated combined mass of dead horsemen equals or exceeds the mass of the Earth?

Bonus points: What will the radius of the Earth be at that point? Will it equal or exceed the distance from the Earth to the Moon? Why or why not? Be sure to show your work!

Something I'm noticing a fair bit in this Bad Machinery re-read is the background ways that John Allison depicts the class differences between the characters' families. Look at the grot and stains in the corner of the wall near the cheap table with chairs that have no backs that Colm's working at, and the piled up bills in front of the door. Contrast that to Mildred's family home, which is absolutely spotless. Even Shauna's home, which isn't exactly upper class (I believe it's said they live in a council estate, which my understanding is that's a britishism for public row housing) at least is depicted as being fairly clean.

Yeah, Colm (I think) just lives with his dad, who clearly takes zero interest in the house. It's very empty and in poor repair and what little furniture there is is old and cheap.

One particularly subtle hint here is the man walking past right in front of the window in one panel. This indicates that the front door opens directly onto the street, with no front yard of any description, which is a setup typical of the poorest type of 19th century terraced housing in the UK.

It's a young adult fantasy book that she has illustrated:
When Disa takes her brother's name and fights for a place in Björkökungen's hird, she has everything to prove and her sights set on revenge. But life at Rävungarna, the youngest warriors, is harder than she thought. When she is forced to stay awake at a burial mound one night, she discovers that ancient forces are calling to her. And that something inside her answers.

I was on the other end in corporate setting up stuff for them to do and ok this is what we need this is where things are and all that stuff and then they just straight up ignored all of it, did it how they wanted, and didn't count the entire backstock room and then we never used them again after that one test count lol

e: I think "not using RGIS" is my most lasting good act at that place. They laid me off a year ago and I wouldn't be surprised to learn they picked up RGIS again and didn't have someone go over it properly and realize what they did this time
