https://www.facebook.com/pararanmocknews/posts/2659967527641182 really interesting thread. this is a nigerian comedian who made a post mocking increasing atomization, similar to someone advocating for texan independence but going too far down the rabbit hole and calling for independence just for cowboys stadium. this post was largely made to spark comments from igbo people who would be politically dominant in a new biafra, and people from the "south south" of nigeria and biafra, the niger delta, a mix of ethnic groups but prominently the ijaw. virtually absent is any pro-nigerian voice, it's really astounding. a few people saying "wow things sure are deteriorating fast, huh" and similar bleak stuff

Disrespecting him both because your accusing him of hating Armenians and organizing massacres against them, and not being capable of doing something, ie killing all the Armenians.

Immigrant to not from Turkey. Fiancé is Ismaili so thats what I converted to (a pain in the rear end conversion too), but most of my social circle is Alevi, and thats kind of the community I'm assimilating into and my formal studies involved studying their ethnogenesis. Avatar is from a communist political cartoon from Tashkent in the early soviet period. Zappin the mullahs with the light of Communism

Fiancé is Hazara, but even among them Ismaili's are pretty fringe, and there's some sort of intermediary hereditary pseudo-imam between them and the Aga Khan they follow. I'm endlessly thankful there's no jamatkhana in Istanbul, so I don't really have to do anything but fast as part of converting.

Some of the population transfers happened during Ataturk's rule but that's not really the issue. They'll just assume you're bringing it up to smear Ataturk because Turks are deranged and obsessed with Ataturk and will naturally assume any attack on Turkey during that era is an attack Ataturk.
