I was just thinking about truly depressing the Jumbotrons used to be. The one I always remember was one listener writing herself a message from the perspective of hers cats telling her how proud they were of her. It seemed that by the end the Jumbotrons were a mix of very sad people and couples engaging in very expensive PDA.

I bought a MBMBAM Jumbotron shortly before TAZ exploded in popularity and it became impossible. Just a good simple message for my friend who moved to another country. No jokes in the copy, just wholesomeness, but they got a riff going. Worked perfectly well in that regard.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a TAZ jumbotron. Why would you not skip the ads segment of a TAZ episode? It’s not like MBMBaM where there might be a great bit in there.
