There's been a lot of focus on qr code based ordering to try to get around that but the cost of getting that set up and spotty integration with existing pos systems scare off the tight bastards (they also have a tendency to impact tips) I've seen a willingness to increase wages to hold experienced bar tenders but there's definitely massive reluctancy to increase wages for the lower rung of runners.
