I hope Abadon continues to get better because there's this special tongue-in-cheek kayfabe outside of the ring where everyone's just very unsettled and uneasy being close to Abadon. I love how straight they played the Shida match, she wasn't afraid of Abadon because she was a literal zombie, just a terrifying person.

Let's be realistic: Jake almost surely attributed his drug addiction to the guitar shot for years so as not to go over how the root of it is his dad making his stepmom molesting him, his dad molesting his sisters, his grief from his sister's presumed murder, etc. Did Honky Tonk Man himself gently caress up? I dunno. But that guitar was very obviously not gimmicked the way the future guitars would be. (Which makes sense to a degree since it might actually be the first guitar shot in wrestling history?) Jake was clearly expecting something that was scored enough to fall apart as soon as it made contact, but he got brained instead.
