For me Akki’s golden week run was insane, so when you combine that with the bros still being on fire it should be him. Brookes definitely has an argument for highest impact per appearance though.

It would have been his season if he'd had an angle as strong as the Pencil War. ChocoPro's an underdog promotion so doing a ton of work rate matches and main events doesn't get you quite as over with its fan base. Mei gets over by being underrated compared to the overall Joshi scene. It's tough with only four slots. Wasshoi Aniki = Water Wave and Hayashi Hayashi: Pampering Brother White Comaneci = Sugawara Sugawara & Ann Honda: whoop cousin imitation E: Hagane’s name was translated as New Blade. Not sure if that’s what his name is geneuinely supposed to evoke but it’s really appropriate. Maybe someone who’s better with Japanese and their names than I am can say. I guess Koishikawa 小石川 is just a normal name. It means ”small rock river” though!
