But still, metroidvanias have come a long way for the period of time metroids been sleeping, and hopefully they manage to show why the genre is half named after them

i'm liking almost everything that i'm seeing. it feels fast for metroid, the combat looks kind it could make you bite your nails. the visuals have a lot of variety in style. the little pauses for tutorials look vaguely annoying but i'm betting you can turn them off
