I know there will always be disappointed people. But props to Nintendo making a really good lineup this year. How did they do it with Covid and all? A rather remarkable feat IMO.

I was wondering the same thing and then I remembered the really toxic Japanese work environment...  Honestly not sure how modern Nintendo fits into that these days, though. if monster hunter didn't exist but stories did, this would be a pretty unique looking jrpg. the stylization isn't quite pushed enough though, elements of this village feel a bit like "monster hunter downgraded" rather than "cartoony monster hunter" also, going back to what i said about yokai watch the other day, Yokai Watch 4 was again a no show in a Nintendo event, and that was probably the only chance for there to be a localization of the game. I'd say it's dead.

There was single sentence in an interview about the sequel being in the same world, which was probably just referring to the game using the same setting and characters from BotW (since it's pretty common for Zelda games to be totally disconnected) but which made some content-starved website write an article about how BotW 2 was using the exact same world map as the first one.
