harden needs to hang out with strippers and stuff himself for the second half

harden confirmed as a bigtime fraud who just got his first field goal after 27 minutes

LMAO HARDEN WENT UP AND DOWN FOR A 3 TRYING TO DRAW A FOUL, AND THEN DIDN'T GET FOUL AND TRIED TO CALL A TIMEOUT

it turns out it doesn't matter if harden is dead weight when you can just have godlike KD play all 48 minutes

durant made the nba great again credit to harden for playing 46 minutes with a strained hamstring and getting 8 assists too. even played tight defense against giannis for a split second there lol bucks

I will always insist that the Raptors could have beaten a fully healthy 2019 warriors in the finals regardless of any facts or arguments presented to me but the 12 minutes or so Durant played in Game 5 were terrifying.

Harden's biggest contribution was dribbling like an idiot for 20 seconds then getting trapped and shoving a desperate last-second pass to KD so he can drain an iconic three

I like when Durant passed the ball to the back of Harden's head in the first quarter.

just checked the assist numbers. last two games were 15/7 and 20/17 in terms of assist/to ratio. today with harden and durant getting dimes and moving the ball around they were 27/9

If someone told me that Harden would start, play over 45 minutes, and put up exactly five points, I would generally assume the worst. KD carried hard.

yeah ofc you actually have to hit shots in order for assists to register and durant/green did that in droves. but also hard to get any good looks if you have essentially zero guard play which is part of why the clippers struggle so much at times. nets would have been doomed if both harden and kyrie were out imo

He wasn't useless, but he looked like a shell of himself.

Also at least a couple of his assists were basically just wasting time and eventually handing the ball to KD, who just shot over his defenders

i think regardless of the raw assist totals having guards also just means more ball movement which is much harder to quantify. the team assist/to (as opposed to individual, but harden's 2/1 ratio wasn't exactly bad) numbers are the best evidence we have of that imo
