One year, when traveling home for the holidays, I was removed from an overloaded flight from New York to St. Louis, but I checked a bag. So, my checked bag arrived days before I did. I was told it would be waiting for me, but the STL airport sent it back to New York. I had to wait another 2 days (and drive 4 extra hours) to go pick up my bag, which had my winter coat and Christmas presents in it. Besides that stupid ordeal, it is just a depressing airport. It's like flying out of a dying shopping mall.

I havent listened to F Plus or Extra Credits since around early 2018. What are some great episodes that have come out since then? I really like episodes about unnecessary details on fake things and nerds aruging with each other. Episodes with Kumquatxop yelling a lot are also appreciated.

The dragon usenet F Plus episode was honestly a bit sweet. Just early-internet ridiculousness that made me a touch nostalgic. (Also, Lemon’s “the mountain really came to Mohammed there” riff was excellent.) I’m really confused by the latest Extra Credit short. I can’t tell if this was someone lying for clout or what. On the one hand, those student comments were spot-on for what you see in graded online class discussions. Turns out this episode left me lying in the middle of a smouldering crater because I was on the same sites as these dweebs when I was eleven. I read the same poo poo about dragon colors and made dragon codes for my cool dragon OCs and imagined I was going to write a book about a dragon just like Christopher Paolini and saw people expounding at length on the edgy backstories of their true dragon soulforms. As far as I can tell, the only difference between me and the posters on alt.fan.dragons is that I was eleven and decided dragons were kind of silly by the time I was twelve. Wolves were the cool poo poo for twelve year olds.

I was into Gaia too, but as a kid I was in the weird middle ground of not actually being into anime, but all my friends were and it seemed like fun, so I joined Gaia to try to figure out what that was about. But for me, Gaia came after dragons, and I was only there because my friends were. Generally it’s okay to share student work, especially at the post secondary level; the poster implied there was some form of agreement that the students were okay with their work being republished, and if it’s a US school assignments are not covered by FERPA as long as names, grades or instructor comments aren’t included
