Sad to say, the best interviews with scientists come from the right (thinking of people like Lex Fridman in particular, though I think his politics are pretty confused). Most working scientists have broadly liberal politics, but most liberal science podcasts are “soy”, for lack of a better word. I might be missing something, but I do feel like we’re ceding a lot of territory to the right in this space, and likely ending up with a growing movement of Tesla fanboys/techno optimist/libertarian folk who might otherwise have better opinions.
