This is his wife. Her name is Hong Tai Lang. When her husband fails at the one thing he keeps trying to do, (murder and eat some adorable goats), she beats him with a frying pan. It is also humourous. They are portrayed as a loving married couple. Surprisingly, even though she beats him on a near daily basis, she is not responsible for his facial scar.

Quite probably not, but you cannot and should not expect every single information source or media outlet to be purely objective; it is literally not possible in any meaningful way. You should take your information and data from every source as much as possible with understanding of the context and biases of said source. You should also go out of your way to occasionally sanity check with various articles from sources you generally disagree with on important issues and see if there’s anything of substance, as well as to understand the rhetoric being used to see what people you disagree with are being exposed to. This is general modern media literacy stuff. “This source is probably editorialized and has a level of bias!!!” Is not that damning of a statement considering it applies to *literally every source*. If anything being relatively above board and clearly stating their sponsors inherently makes them far better than most places.
