Three of the dogs at my doggy daycare have little wheelchairs and they love them. I'd honestly say the dogs with wheelchairs are happier than any of the other guys.

When you pop a wheelchair on Bongo he gets so excited the zoomies are dangerous. He's clipped my shins more times than I can count just Bongoing all over the kennel while I try to catch him to go out. He's an australian shepherd that likes to herd people and it gets painful.

Tucker, a little terrier that is full of spit and pride, uses his wheelchair to knock down the big dogs. He whips his little chair around on purpose at their knees. The smarter dogs have started taking dives to avoid Tucker. When he gets a bigger dog down he hops around the yard howling about it.

And then there's Batilda. She's a rottweiler that was born with a paralyzed back end and didn't get a chair until she was 5 years old. She loves bopping around on wheels but she's terrible at steering. She spends as much time on her back like a turtle as she does running. She'd run up a wall or over the edge of a picnic table and just womble backwards all the time. We finally realized she was doing it on purpose when I turned her over and she used my legs to flip back. She is my favorite dog.

Dogs are so rad.
