Okay but like, we're all gonna die within the next 50 years, right? Actually, I was curious about average/highest temps in my area because I remember summers not being that intense when I was a kid. I loathe hot weather and become a huge baby if it gets above 85. Turns out that the highest it ever got was 107F way back in 1941 and rarely breaks 100. Looks like I'm just fat.

Even at "only" 86 degrees, it's stupid hot outside because of the 80% humidity. It's that kind of humid where it'll rain for three minutes every hour or two just to ensure things are as miserable as possible.

What's wild to me is that if the collapse happens and humans survive somehow, they'd never be able to get back to the diesel/gasoline stage. It's just too hosed to hell.
