DandyLion posted:Also something I couldn't figure out but I always noticed the F-16's sounded way louder even though the F-18's had two of those engines.... They don't have the same engines, is the thing. The F-16's a single engine which produces about 17,000-18,000lbs of thrust, or about 30,000 with afterburner. The F-18 has two significantly smaller engines of about 11,000 lbs of thrust, or pushing 18,000 in afterburner. The E/F model has two GE F404 engines that are a bit more powerful than that, but still considerably less powerful than the F-16's.

Cue management freaking out about several hundred shipments being ruined due to falling out, water damage, etc. The trailer yard being shut down so they can make sure they found everything. Carts loads of soggy/damaged/half crushed boxes being brought back to the pack areas so people can figure out which shipments are utter write-offs and which ones just need a new box.

Entombment will fix it, unless wetting down and respirators will fix it, and anyway it's not our fault you breathed asbestos because you knew where it was and how to avoid it even though we had 50 years to do a real abatement. Exciting.

I don't see a lot of rebar or rust on those parking garage columns. That's not how those floor to column joints are supposed to work based off of what I have seen in other projects like this. It reminded me of this one: https://www.osha.gov/sites/default/files/2019-12/2004_r_03.pdf Source tweet for the video cap take at 7 seconds. https://twitter.com/senpizzo/status/1408484905563176960

I did this once, to a stop that's 45 minutes away in the middle of nowhere Kentucky. Boss bought a new truck for cheap, someone can-opened it. Cab looks decent but I don't know who he's hired to replace the box; only recently finally fired the mechanic that was going to get us all killed.
