FRQNCY1 Ticketholders got an email with links to the E1 and CTH episodes that we missed out on due to technical issues, I got mine a few days ago but it was sorted into my promotions folder for some reason so I'm just noticing it now. Ticketholders check your emails for the link if you haven't yet.

He’s played in a bunch of crust and hardcore bands too and FOB brought Every Time I Die on tour with them recently, which must’ve been weird. Fall Out Boy are all dudes with ties to the punk scene but clearly did not care about being called sellouts.

That’s because “selling out” is a stupid artifact of Gen X anti-corporate culture. All Millenials have ever wanted is to get paid, because none of us own property or can afford to have kids unless our parents give us money (that our grandparents gave them) or you make it big in entertainment

Right!! How quaint and dated that the counter-culture of the 90’s was the idea that if your job was somehow too cushy and secure you’d become uncool, and now 20 years later you have 2 generations of America clawing out each other’s eyes for scraps of work and the 8 hour day/40 hour work week with benefits is an impossible luxury only afforded to the luckiest and most nepotistic. Insane!!!

No, it's where we all go 'what the gently caress is wrong with this insane person and the handful of people with them who're dredging up accusations that were found to be uncredible years ago-- people who're so broken by Online that they think owning some nobody-leftist is worth damaging the credibility of actual, substantiated accusations of abuse by others?' It seems to me the bigger story isn't that some bisexual leftist twink autistic millennial once talked to some 17-year-old girl online when he was like 20, but that people are willing to go so nuclear over being mad online that they'll harm the credibility of other victims. Granted, it's going to be infinitesimally minor compared to when Tara Reade came forward and literally everybody with even the barest shred of power just went 'nah, Joe Biden is worth just throwing away the rights of all women over' and then mounted the most vicious and obscene of campaigns of character assassination and minimization they could. For Joe loving Biden pinning and forcibly jamming his hands in an unwilling intern. For Joe loving Biden.

I have an office job and the only time I've felt mentally well in my working life (worked retail for almost a decade beforehand) was the two months the office was closed at the beginning of the pandemic. Unfortunately we then re-opened despite the fact literally everyone can do their job remotely. Not having to commute and being able to do poo poo instead of being parked in a cube was so freeing.

it's what happens when a producer feels the need to get a little creative. It needs to be nipped in the bud or the show will end up sounding like Radiolab
