I've had a lot of success nailing office chuds to the wall by asking them to define socialism where other people can hear their response. They have complete bullshit answers that are totally unintelligible to anyone not sucking down the right wing propaganda. Their actual definition is almost without fail "the thing I hate" because the entire message is hatred and bigotry, but they can't just say "Socialism is anything I hate" without giving away the game so they have to invent ludicrous stuff like "socialism is when a lot of people die to the government" or "socialism is taking other people's money with government".
