I honestly could live for the removal of vague 'announcement' dates from everything in life, not just vtubing. Even when the announcement is something good, the vagueness and waiting just creates tiresome speculation and arguments.

Mito has a "pretty important announcement" scheduled for Thursday and even with her you have people expressing concern, everyone going to full alarm mode every time there's a graduation announcement definitely gets a little old. I kinda wonder which Indys who churn just under the surface have quietly begun to spin down their original accounts in preparation for spinning up a Hololive account in the past few months. EN was a little weird this last time, wasn't it? They technically did two auditions? One specifically looking for singing talent, then a second more conventional wave?

Instead we got, you know, that news. It's important for sure, but you'd expect something good instead of something bad because of the circumstances and language, so now no one knows what to expect anymore.
