How 'bout them hawks news huh!
Funky Winkerbean is so goddamn insufferable with its self-congratulatory smugness. Guess what, Tombat? Nobody cares about your made up old timers and their made up legacy in the business.

Some of del's more elaborate panels give me huge 80s Vertigo vibes. The crosshatching, the exaggerated features, and of course the subject matter of evil capitalists all come together into a very similar feeling. Put a trenchcoat on Dad and horns on the boss and that's a Jamie Delano Hellblazer panel.

Every time I see an Overboard I want to post about it but don't know what to say. Imagine what someone would think if it was their first time seeing it, every day? It's low on the list of strips I dislike, but something about it just makes me mildly irritated every time I see it. It's inexplicable.

There actually exist men who moan about how much toilet paper women in their lives use without understanding that yes, women have to wipe after pissing and this makes me want to flip a table.

I don't understand the point of Crankshaft anyway. Or those comic goobers in Funky. Nothing ever happens, they just smirk endlessly after some boring quip. Yeet them off the face of earth.

One square of toilet paper is barely enough to blow your nose with (going to stop there because Crankshaft is gross enough without thinking about his toilet habits, although I bet he's the kind of old guy who never notices the piss stains on the front of his pants).

In the first place I had when I moved out, with a dude roommate and a girl roommate, when both she and I were having our periods, the toilet paper use just skyrocketed.

Dude was chill about it, though.

It's actually a body double from a poor family, forced into cosmetic surgery by an aggressive manager to do all the fanwork their "star" (is she meant to be in films?) is too stuck up her own arse to engage in. She will now get fired for eating the wrong things and getting too fat. Her family will be on the streets within weeks.

Curtis will turn to the camera and shrug.

Also, one gross is a dozen dozens, so 144, of a thing. (Putting this here in case someone was wondering, because I was until I looked it up.)
