The only officer I know that married a stripper married her while he was still enlisted at Ft. Bragg.

He ended up getting relieved of command. He was an alcoholic, pissed hot and was a domestic abuser. Among many other things he's guilty of. Surprised he was able to keep it under wraps for so long considering how much his company was aware of his poo poo.

Um, how long ago was this? That sounds like my mom's boyfriend from when I was a kid (she wasn't a stripper, but his rebound after she left him was).

Or maybe there's just something in the liquor around Ft Bragg that makes people do that poo poo.

Just a few years ago. They're both still married to each other. From what I remember the domestic abuse went both ways so I guess they're made for each other? They treated each other and other people like complete poo poo.

LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY AS IT'S INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT!
Some fun poo poo coming out of the NRA bankruptcy lawsuit

quote:

The leader of the National Rifle Association said in a deposition that he fled to a private yacht out of fear for his safety following the Sandy Hook and Parkland school shootings.

The 108-foot yacht ― complete with two Sea-Doo WaveRunners and a staff of four people, including a cook ― was where Wayne LaPierre, chief executive of the gun rights group, fled after those mass shootings of schoolchildren in 2012 and 2018.

“They simply let me use it as a security retreat because they knew the threat that I was under,” LaPierre said in a weekend deposition in Texas, where he hopes the NRA can file for bankruptcy to avoid a lawsuit brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

LaPierre said the decision to flee to his friend’s yacht, named The Illusion, was due to threats he received after the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting that left 20 children and six adults dead. LaPierre then fled to the yacht a second time in 2018 following the Parkland, Florida, school shooting that left 17 dead, according to his deposition.

“And I was basically under presidential threat without presidential security in terms of the number of threats I was getting,” LaPierre continued. “And this was the one place that I hope I could feel safe, where I remember getting there going, ‘Thank God I’m safe, nobody can get me here.’ And that’s how it happened. That’s why I used it.”

English doesn’t have a word for landing in water, except “ditch”, which is vernacular if I’m not mistaken.

Water landing doesn’t really make sense when you think about it.

French, a clearly superior language, has a word for water landing (amerrissage) and landing on the Moon (alunissage). We also have a verb for “giving birth” which would have seemed like a given.

German has a word for water landing, and it's beautiful.

Lots of groups of people with beliefs akin to sovereign citizens claim "we're not sovereign citizens." The Black Hebrew Israelites, regular rear end squatters, and other groups know the stigma around being a "sovereign citizen," and they know that SCs have killed cops before, know they're considered dangerous by cops and DHS. Some call themselves "indigenous aboriginals" or "free men on the land" or other dumbass poo poo that doesn't make any sense and has no legal meaning whatsoever.

They'll always claim to not be SCs but spout the same or similar bullshit about traveling not driving, etc.
