Yeah so anyway, drove by Sacred Heart two hours after seeing all the red paint and it was cleaned up to the point of not being evident it had ever been there. A huge hate crime! Let's not discuss the 1150 odd unmarked graves (so far). Meanwhile drove through the Stony Nakoda reserve today and they have lining the highway near the casino, going both ways, 215 stuffed animals along the fence line, and at the Morley turn off an orange tshirt display on the overpass.

When I came in for my shift today, the manager said like 2 sentences to me and had someone else tell me what our tasks were today. I guess she was extremely invested in keeping these drat flags up forever, and I wonder how long it'll take for her to get over this.

Absolute garbage person. Side note, I worked in a Safeway in Calgary and I got written up once for not carding an Indigenous person who was buying mouthwash. That same week my friend told me he had been taken on a starlight tour when he was younger.

Pulling down the statue of Vicky probably educated a ton of people on who she was, so it's definitely a net good that it came down.
