you're a saint  i meant to share this here instead of just the chicken thread but i forgot sorry so we are experiencing the heatdome, it's been at least 100f/37.7c for the last week and will be for the foreseeable future so the chickies have been moved back into the garage for awhile since it's cool in there we let them out in the morning and they really take advantage of it, they make sure to take a very good dust bath just like this (click for sound to hear happy trills): https://i.imgur.com/Nm2MtQs.mp4 here they are just now, not understanding why i am not opening the top and taking them out (that's because it's 104f/40c right now)  also Chickmunk has learned to crow, so he and Darlin' can have crowing competitions in the morning. since our bedroom is over the garage, i get to hear them  they are not very good at crowing yet

i think they'd do it every day if they had the chance. they ran out of time this morning, i think they were juuust getting ready to find a nice patch of dirt when i had to put them back in the garage to hide them from the heat & neighborhood cats

This is Oz again and he is extremely cuddly and you can pet him vicariously by watching this video. Also if you turn the volume up real loud he will purr. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kEXIxmaW1Y He likes to cry and fuss when he doesn't get enough cuddle time, for example every night around 8pm he wants me to lay down on my bed so he can cuddle with my arm like seen in the video and in this pic  And mostly these days he just wants me to lay in bed 24/7 so he can lay next to me and make cute faces  I have never had a cat as cuddly and affectionate as him and even though he wants more attention than I can realistically ever give him which stresses me out sometimes i love him
