I think the difference is that Mox escaped prison so he's a cool good guy, while Tommy End got released after choosing his pact boon.

They left enough time between when it happened and the actual payoff that I had just started to tell myself maybe it actually was an electrical issue. Really great reveal.

Malakai Black is like a TNA name but one that works. Anyone who sees this guy and hears his name as Malakai Black will know who he is immediately, but it doesn't sound lame or convoluted to me. I know gently caress Cody and all, but it'd be nice if Cody would break his storyline isolation and challenge Kenny for one of his titles that he's still eligible for. That would make a lot of sense. Doesn't have to win, although it'd be funny for Cody to be the TNA or Impact champion.

I thought it was weird when the lights went out during Cody’s match. I assumed it was going to lead to a debut or return but then it did not matter one bit. Even with commentary mentioning electrical issues, I assumed that it was the start of a return/debut. When Arn came out, I had completely forgotten about the lights going out and thought that this would be a push for his son. When the lights went out again, I went from “oh, it is somebody” to “maybe they are having issues” with how long it took. My mouth was left open when Black was there with the lights coming on. To hear that they had the lights have issues during Dark, that just made it even better. That is a good debut for someone like Black. People have compared it to Andrade but his personality fits better with the intro he got.

I knew Black was coming in and very soon. When the first lights dipped, I figured Black was gonna run in on the QT/Cody match because I didn't really care about the result of the match. He didn't and Cody did his Cody bullshit, which was a good enough consolation prize. And yeah, I'd completely forgotten about Black possibly debuting when Arn came out. Then the lights dipped, I was high af and thought it was Cody for a second. Then my blasted brain caught up and started filling in Tommy End.

When the first black out happened I was sure roman reigns was debuting, when the second blackout happened i said loudly to the bar that was equally as loudly complaining that I had put on wrestling "that's gotta be reigns". when it was malacki black i shamefully left the bar without paying my tab.
