If you're in the EuroZone, they aren't allowed to collect data on you without informing you about it. They will do it anyway I guess, but you can report them to the data protection authorities to get revenge.

I need to start an LLC eventually for legal reasons once a friend's game project gets to the point where it'll be sold to the public and I will happily say anyone used to work there (and did a great job too!) once it's set up. I assume hiring managers are too busy to do any due diligence beyond just a phone call so its not like the fact it's based out of my house and has only ever had the same two employees will matter.
