They were both in perfect condition and they had ips screens on top too. So search eBay for the LL instead of the XL. you can mod the system and change the region to have English menus

I actually did end up homebrewing my 3ds XL and it works great, but the lovely thing is the microsd slot is behind the back panel that you have to unscrew every time. so I didn't end up doing much with it beyond using the screenshot function

I gave away my Switch around Christmas last year and was toying with the idea of buying another a few weeks ago. All I could find nearby was a Switch Lite, so I bought one and a copy of Mario Golf today. Never played a Mario Golf game before and I suck at it, but I love it. It's all good
