As somebody who grew weary of the RTS genre long ago, I really enjoyed Offworld Trading Company. It almost plays more like a real time board game about building your city and competing for resources and each round only lasts about 30 minutes. It was quite refreshing.

Friend of mine wants to play Battlefront 2 sometimes, which is only on Origin far as I can tell. Set up EA Desktop planning to try out EA Play stuff. No Battlefront 2, so I have to sit on both. Twitch gave away Battlefield 1 recently, not on EA Desktop. Even better, I just tried to start up Origin while I had EA Desktop open... and it throws up an error message saying you can't run them both at the same time.
