I AM THE SCALES OF JUSTICE, CONDUCTOR OF THE CHOIR OF DEATH!

The Calico corners like it's on rails if you brake and turn in hard. Stay off the throttle until you're exiting the corner and ready to rip, it understeers like a motherfucker on throttle.

The Calico also has an interesting trait where, if you lower it using the new stance option in the vehicle menu, the top speed increases even more. It's absolutely nutty and it will pull like a freight train on drat near everything.

It's legitimately my favorite new car from the update so far, it is an absolute riot!

The problem is that if I brake hard enough to maintain traction it has to brake way, way harder than my Jester does to take the same corner.

The Calico is all wheel drive and can't counter steer out of a slide for poo poo, it's just.... Strange. And I do not have my Calico stanced. I like it in free mode just fine.

Do you get tuner rep for doing anything in the garage? Customize customer cars, scores or stealing cars? I want to get my rep up but I'm not good at racing in GTA.

Go to the car meet and get in your car. Go into the car meet LSC. Rubber band your controller/autohotkey a keyboard button to scroll through the LSC menu. It’ll level you up while you're completely AFK at work or sleeping, but it’s slow.

EDIT: You unlock a new trade price every 5th Rep Level. Which vehicle's trade price you unlock is random.

Apparently they removed pretty much all in-mission AFK methods, even rubber banding doesn't work anymore if you're in a mission. I tried wedging the 'down' arrow on my keyboard down while in my apartment wardrobe to cycle through shirts. I did get kicked but my PC had brought something up and focus shifted away from GTA which always kicks me, so I'll need to experiment more.

The LSC afk seems to be working for me so far on Xbox. Although I haven't done it for very long afk stretches. About 30 min or so. I'm trying a longer stretch now.

Except this one drives like absolute poo. I hope you're planning on delivering tofu because that's about all it's good for.

Since these new cars are all 7 figures, what are the ones that people should go for, performance-wise?

I have enough cash on hand for 2 plus upgrades. I could grind some more Cayo Perico heists out, but that's way more effort than I'm currently interested in doing.

If you trust Reddit, the three stand-outs are the Euros, the Calico and the Jester.

I have not heard anything about the Dominator yet, but the other 6 sports cars are either too slow or handle poorly.

The 7 dripfeed vehicles obviously remain to be seen.

That's a real bummer. So far I only got the Celica which is pretty fun and drives poo poo fast. Hope the RX-7 at least is decent.

Is that just "be in a LSC and you won't get kicked" or is there something else? Can you even enter LSC in a mission?

RX7 is decent. Plus is has louvers so its a must purchase.

Drift mode kinda sucks with it since I cant seem to catch it whenever it lets go. Too short of a wheelbase?

I think this is explicitly for grinding levels in the new DLC, where it's not the LSC that you know, but the "Car Meet LSC" which I still don't know what it's called.

Go to the car meet and get in your car. Go into the car meet LSC. Rubber band your controller/autohotkey a keyboard button to scroll through the LSC menu. It’ll level you up while you're completely AFK at work or sleeping, but it’s slow.

Reports yesterday that all idling methods were patched isn't quite accurate, it seems some people are able to use certain CCTV's still, however "watching TV in your apartment" does seem patched, both in missions (rip) and freemode.

What I'm hearing is most afk methods within contact missions are patched out. Like watching a dj stream or security cams will still work, but you can't access those properties during a contact mission anyway.

The idea of using contact missions is you can avoid paying all your utilities every 48 minutes, and depending on what properties you own that can be a substantial portion of what you earn from nightclub idling. Maybe half your income evaporating. I'm not even sure if what you get from "sporting goods" is as much as what it costs to keep the bunker during that time.

Eh, you can resign CEO and cut your expenses and it shouldn't be bad. I never did it in mission, I just did it in an invite only lobby and money was still worthwhile.

For the cars I recommend the Jester RR If you plan on doing Street Races. Disclaimer though, I haven't been able to drive all the cars modded.

I have a Calico and a jester fully modded and the Calico works okay on Pursuit Races where you run from the cops, because there are much, much longer straights. However, the new Jester works well there too, because it's better at carving around roadblocks and assholes in your way. The two cars drive very different from each other and require totally different approaches to corners.

Also be aware that the new Street Races are all (so far) pretty tight circuits with hard turns and hairpins with no straights to speak of, meaning throttle and brake control is actually a lot more important than it is on normal GTA racing. This makes things... Chaotic for a lot of people it seems.

I thought about that, but that can take a while doing 50k at a time and then going to the casino any time I want to buy anything. I feel like at that point I'm putting in so much time it's really missing the "quick and simple idling" idea.

It seems pretty much impossible to do unless you have almost no cash? You can exchange 50k chips per in game day (48 minutes) If you own a penthouse. If you have 10 million in the bank that would be 160 hours non stop trading every 48 minutes.

Easily bypassed the same way as respinning the podium wheel. Just disconnect and reconnect internet after you exchange chips but before the game autosaves.

Well considering rockstar patched it, most likely because what you're doing is not what they want you to do, you don't really have many options here...

Correct - You begin getting charged 48 minutes into a new session. I'm now imagining an AHK script that goes

1: For 40 minutes, press D every 10 minutes
2: After 40 minutes, press Escape, press all the presses that get you to a new session, press enter
3: Wait 2-3 minutes
4: Go back to 1

Adjust timings as needed and you've got an overnight idler.

No but you still have to pay out a comparatively substantial amount even without being registered between the nightclub, penthouse, properties, garages, etc. I think mine totals about $3,000 every 48 minutes, and nightclubs running the top 5 goods accrue something like $20,000 in the same time.

For real, as long as the nightclub I own and drink free in, plus the money from the people I randomly stab to death on the way home outpaces the overhead from this network of instant car deliveries and strategically placed green health drinks in apartments, I'm not seeing a problem.
