I'm about halfway through Oscar's career, just finished Ike Quarterly, which he won but looked more vulnerable than he has before, including being knocked down once, in the 6th; he fought back hard with two knockdowns himself, one in the 6th and another in the 12th. Honestly, pretty good fight if you haven't seen it. He's currently two fights away from his first loss, to Felix Trinidad, and there was some color commentary during the Quarterly fight that his camp wasn't great. Also, he keeps going through good trainers at a worrying pace. It's funny, I recall his losses to Pacquiao and Mayweather when they were happening and he didn't look *awful*, he just didn't seem to have answers for these top level fighters, just a bit too slow as he aged I guess? I'm curious to see how he continues to deteriorate because this last fight was the hardest I've seen him in but he rose to the occasion well.

Iirc Oscar came in way lighter than anyone expected him to against Pac so he ended up giving up his biggest advantage which was his size over Manny Edit: Assuming one of the hundred billion things that could derail the Vitor fight doesn't happen then I don't really have high hopes for De La Hoya. He hasn't been in the ring in any capacity since in 2008 and his life is literally falling apart before our eyes. Most commissions (at least in NA, unsure how it is in Europe) got rid of the standing 8 count more than 2 decades ago. Even where it’s still allowed, the major title orgs don’t allow it in championship bouts, so you’ll basically never see it on TV.
