i hope cm punk feuds with jericho, then christian, then matt hardy, and finally jake hager, and retires on top after four consecutive dream matches that we never thought we'd see. same with bryan danielson but he can take the opponents in reverse order so that everyone has something to do. the prohibited egress

Her spine is hosed, yeah, but we thought a lot of people wouldn't be able to come back. That said, I *think* WWE released her on the condition that if she could wrestle again, she'd need to finish out her contract.

AJ never developed into the great wrestler people expected, probably for reasons out of her control. I wouldn't mind seeing her wrestle and show what she can actually do, but maybe a few months down the line.

AJ seems pretty well off having rebranded herself as an animal rights and mental health awareness advocate, and working with Lucifer actress Aimee Garcia on writing comic books and other things. She actually made the Black List’s latin TV writer’s list for a spec script she wrote:The Black List “Latinx TV List” posted:HOME by AJ Mendez and just recently her and Garcia were announced as the screenwriters for a 47 Ronin sequel. I mean she’ll probably feel the itch to come back if and when Punk works again, but I don’t think it’d be for much more than a proper retirement match, instead of having her last match literally be also known as the “YOU SUCK _____” match.

I think they want to burn through Omega's remaining dream matches while he is champion (an idea that has a certain appeal) leading to his slide into part-time/semi-retirement following his loss of the belt.

In a vacuum a longer Kenny reign with Dream matches wouldn't be a bad idea, even if Travel is still gonna be a mess for awhile. But it's not a vacuum as it really does feel like Hangman's time and I think delaying the coronation would hurt more in the long run, especially since he hasn't won the big one . A big reason Okada losing to Tanahashi at the Tokyo Dome worked in storyline is cause Okada had won the title and beat Tanahashi before...Hangman losing here has the potential to Luger him

Yeah, one needs to remember that both Kenny and the Bucks are very much like "we're gonna retire sooner than people think". Kenny's whole entire title run is basically a set up to make Hangman the standard bearer of the company for a long time. It's been built off and on since May 2019. So the argument is like they say: does the title being involved add anything to the drawing power of a Danielson/Omega or Punk/Omega match? Which is very up in the air! Does Hangman need the extra rub of conquering Kenny when two all-timers can't? Maybe. I think, honestly, you only pick one of the two to be a challenger if you're keeping the title on Kenny past All Out, probably to anchor Full Gear or a TNT special, if they run one this year, and you save the other for a longer term build special attraction match in 2022.
