I was thinking. Couldn't Gura keep the stream up as archived as each song is a parody of the original? Or does word swapping to make it sound medieval not really fall under a parody?

Also just because something is parody doesn't mean a company won't still send its lawyers after you, there's a reason Weird Al gets permission from music companies before he releases anything.

I agree with this (humorously enough, Weird Al got in trouble with Amish Paradise because of miscommunication, from what I can remember). The loss of revenue and goodwill is probably not worth the risk (since clippers would just repost anyway).

It was both, though the Nintendo issue was a lot more disruptive to Hololive in general. Mio got hit specifically by Capcom for streaming Ghost Trick; it put her account on two strikes so she had to go on hiatus for a while to avoid the permaban. I think that was before Cover was actually diligent about permissions, so it's understandable that they'd be extremely gunshy after messes like that.
