This guy.. This cat brought in a live mice last night to play with, and it escaped. It scared the kids several times during the evening, the cats chased it but it escaped several times. I thought I got it locked in the bathroom and put in traps, but it escaped during the night. However one of the cats had finally gotten it sometime during and it lay dead in the morning, finally. It's one of these mice that cat's like to kill but not eat. Googling says it's a shrew.

This is not technically my cat. Sort of a free range communal cat. When I first moved into the area there was a big feral cat problem, but over the years most have been captured and fixed then released or adopted. But this one sticks around, she bounces between my house and the neighbors.. They call her Andy, my 8 year old calls her Nighteagle. Shes super friendly and basically an indoor cat that doesnt have an indoors.   Always feel bad that I cant bring her inside though, so when toys r us went out of business I bought a childrens club house and built it for her  its got food and water of course, a pet bed,  and a thermostatically controlled heat lamp to keep her warm when it gets cold  This is one of her kids she managed to have before we got her fixed, Cato, shes also super friendly   thats my contribution to the black cat thread
