Miro was constantly trying to make the best out of what they gave him but what they gave him was genuinely some of the worst poo poo of all time so it was still kinda unfortunate

 Miro was clearly a good wrestler but often plagued by bad booking and awful angles, which is par for the course over there.

I do distinctly remember a really good match against.... swagger? which was notable in that Miro sold the ankle lock like he could barely stand, and I went from thinking he was good as an imposing monster to legitimately good as a wrestler
