It's her kid's mask. The fact that this is how much a kid drools in one day, and we know that kids can spread covid, makes a great case to keep the loving mask on your child's face!

lol have americans never heard of laundry lines

# ? Aug 6, 2021 01:49 |

Few people here have enough space to air dry their laundry. My grandparents were the only people I’ve ever known with a yard large enough to have a laundry line, and they never used it because a big part of postwar consumerism was gadgets that simplify housework, like dishwashers and washer/dryers.

I live in a country with this thing called "the sun" in the sky and because it's the middle of winter it's still 21 degrees C outside so I'm drying my washing on the line outside. The dryer sits, lonely and empty, waiting for it's one load every six months when we get a week of rain.

Pretty sure if I tried to use my tiny amount of outdoor space to hang my laundry, the crows in my complex which are numerous and incredibly powerful would just steal it all and I would be powerless to stop them

I simply poo poo cleanly by eating a block of cheese every day. It comes out in one enormous compact cube each fortnight. This allows me to only shower twice in a presidential term

You can skip showering by just slathering yourself in cheese and oil and occasionally scraping it off like an ancient greek

A Buttery Pastry posted:Yeah. Speaking as a Dane, the associations I have with dryers compared to hanging clothes up are like: It costs me under fifty cents to run a load. I don’t care how long the clothes take to dry. The time I would spend hanging clothes is worth more than fifty cents. I timed it when my dryer broke. Hanging the clothes is viable for my climate and living situation. It just isn’t worth my time.
