We eventually evacced to Delve, and built it up and mined up a massive titan fleet. 13 months ago, 150,000 hostile pilots made a coalition to exterminate us. Their will finally broke six days ago, and we erased 13 months of their war progress in six days.

I warped a 250km sniper rokh on top of the keepstar in T5Z at 50km to try and land a shot for the killmail because I can't read and thought that keepstar was already on its last leg and was about to die.

Of course it was blown up spectacularly and I've been spending the last several hours with some 1st grade math flash cards in an effort to understand how I thought 50km was >= 250km.

I don't know why I thought it was a good idea, but I'm ready to do it again tomorrow when the ref timer runs out again.

I was actually shocked that we are already able to basically kill people on their keepstar undock with impunity. With the only real danger being an occasional DD from the keep itself.

Starting to wonder if there's a way to Lose EVE that contributes to the Swarm, but is also compatible with how my life goes these days. I've seen people mention playing EVE with comms off watching Netflix, and that's about the level of attention I'd be able to devote most of the time (with the occasional "throw a carrier at it" fleet op), and since money is tight I'd rather have a way to pay through plex than pay $20/mo for my two accounts. Any thoughts on ways an incredibly outdated returning vet could help the cause under those constraints?

In terms of what I've got to work with, EVEmon tells me my pair of accounts had:

A newly-trained Thanatos pilot with the training for our sniper battleship doctrine of yore, and a Thanatos with a wildly outdated fit sitting in dock. Note: I have no idea how carriers work now.
A pretty ridiculous (for 2010) "everything but caps" 56m SP character bequeathed to me by a friend who used it primarily for exploration and HAC/Recon fuckery: 4 or 5 in nearly every subcap Spaceship Command and ship system skill that existed in 2010, plus some decent mining, processing, industry, science, and Anchoring V for some reason
A dedicated covops/ceptor/dictor alt with respectable skills for the Amarr/Minmatar variants
A VCBee, hell yeah

If they aren't moving those subcaps out you'd think they would just form fleets and lose them in glorious battle, but then again their leaders are risk adverse cowards ...

Moving capitals from Villasen to Delve with the newer shorter jump ranges as well as jump fatigue would be a minor nightmare.

You also can't just use disposable cyno ships anymore, either.

I really would like to save my Moros, though. SO many BoB POS hash marks on the hull of that thing.

It is 15% of the CCP valuation of the items to get them back out of safety wrap in lowsec. It was not cheap getting my 3 ratting chimeras out of wrap, but glad I did it before they went up, next step is figuring out how to sell them since they're not worth jumping across the map to delve.

You could use the mobile cyno beacons. Those can be placed on a station but are a little pricey.

Just put the carrier up at below market price on a public contract and buy a new one in Delve off S-mart. Either pubbie ship your stuff to someplace you can sell it or throw it up at 80% jita buy on a public contract and someone will come along and buy it, too.

I'm wandering around solo in an entosis vexor hitting any nodes I see (mostly useless tcus, but also some ihubs). No real plan, just lasering things that need lasering and watching papi members pack up their poo poo in a panic.

Between insurance and srp, I think I make isk when I die (though not enough to plex an account). And if I want to do something else, I just quit the client in space.

If you mean you tried to land at 250 but landed at 50, the citadel grids are some magic where the actual distance from the keepstar is different and it can, in fact, shoot you.
Or there was a bubble that popped while you were warping that dragged you

Anyway, just coming with big lockrange and shooting even short range guns will put you on killmail. Don't do that though, join a proper fleet and fly a proper ship for that fleet instead, imo

Exactly. Keeping your subcap pilots engaged and involved is critical, plus keeping your members happy while they traipse across the galaxy seems like 'the job' for a CEO or FC. The trail of tears, papi failure edition is bad, but at least capitals can jump, logoff, and do something else. Subcaps pounding out 80 jumps or whatever it is is just terrible.

The Portal Generator requires JDC V to train into and JFC affects how much fuel you use portaling and jumping.

Edit: Why on earth didn't they try to Skynet the 1DQ1-A gate in T5ZI until more assets had been evacced? I've seen our FCs turn an entire HAC fleet around to pick up a single straggler.
