A good snek. He's a corn snake, which apparently is a type of rat snake? We had one before but he got out. He was super bitey, but his bites were kinda like how it feels to put a nine volt battery on your tongue. This new dude is super chill and doesn't give a heck about being handled, so that's nice. They're SO STRONG and can move SO FAST, it's really something. |

Whoa I was trashed when I wrote that anyway I kinda wanna get an emperor scorpion. They're really chill and live for a long time. For a while I thought mantises would be cool to keep, but they have really short lifespans and death sucks. I was looking into keeping a pet cuttlefish a while back 'cause they're amazing animals. After doing some research though, it seems they only live for about a year before it's almost guaranteed that their vision will deteriorate to the point where they can't even eat, and that's horribly depressing. I guess they tend to get eaten in the wild before that happens. |
