Good job skipping 1 and 5, but what are you doing with 3???

He gets the mask, Shelly, and Chris actually makes Jason yell out at one point. We're skipping 1 and 5 because they're not Jason movies, and we save 7 for when we're in the mood for "Jean Grey vs. Jason."

8 just sucks, I still haven't grabbed Jason Goes To Hell or the new HD box set, Jason X is my wife's favorite of the series, and while I don't think the remake or Versus are that bad they're not that good either.

On a different note, my daughter sent me a video of her and her friends playing this game before school. I don't get video games anymore.

Here is the case for Jason Takes Manhattan:

It’s not the best Friday or my favorite but it is in some ways the “most” Friday of any of them imo. I think if you’ve only ever picked up cultural cues about Friday the 13th movies, and you saw VIII, it would be exactly what you predicted. Not as fun as VI or as silly as VII or as stupid as IX; not as good as IV or II. It is the sub-average watermark of the sub-average slasher-movie-creating franchise; it is the secret leader of the Friday movies. It’s like an entire movie of the basic dumb bones of all the other movies that get ignored by fun gimmicks and thrills.

Anyway I love it and I hope you have fun on your marathon and log your favorite kills and outfits.

1st plane ride: masks required and enforced, they sat us all as far apart as possible(which wasn't much)
2nd plane ride: masked required but not enforced, they packed us in tight as gently caress.

I'm pretty sure I'll be ok because I haven't had any symptoms but goddamn, the poo poo I do for coin.

Part 6 will always be my favorite because it was the first one I saw. I caught it at like 2:30 pm on USA on a Saturday. I watched the rest on that Joe Bob MonsterVision TNT show.

Same! Part 6 was on at 3 AM on a Saturday night on the syndicated channel that wasn't Fox. Something about "The Paramount Movie Network" or something.

And I like part 5, we're just watching Jason movies. 5 might be the most violent of the entire series.

5 isn't a Jason movie. 5 is like some horrible gross snuff film. Everyone is sloppy and dirty. Look up the director's other works and then you'll see why lol.

I have a bit of a tie.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcb0vROvmWk - Amy Steel was a great Final Girl, but Chris from 3-D is a badass in her own right, having to pull a knife from her best friend's body to defend herself.

Yeah Friday 5 is so deeply mean-spirited that I just find it hard to watch. It’s not even the lack of Jason, just that it’s so angry and low.

The remake has the same problem for me. Doesn’t seem to like anyone that’s doing it. Which is a shame, because the dude who played Jason was fantastic and a huge fan.

I'd rather listen to Mechanix than FH, despite the cringe as hell lyrics.

My favourite Metallica tune changes day to day but it's probably one of For Whom The Bell Tolls, Call of Ktulu, Orion, Harvester of Sorrow or Dyers Eve

somewhat recently a game i used to rent because they didn't have anything else i wanted called claymates was released for the switch's super nintendo online, and it's the most hated game ever made. But that game was weird because it tried to use the cg render thing but in a fake or lovely way where the characters were still obviously regular sprites but intended to look like renders. some of the other sprites did look like real renders though so i don't know. anyhow i need to explain that i know renders are just turned into 'regular sprites' and every sprite on the snes is a regular sprite, but that's not what i mean. i hope you can understand me one day
