hollow knight's map system is good because it requires the player to learn the layout of the game and just play it instead of stopping every ten steps to press The Map Button and bring everything to a screeching halt

i've been eyeing a used ds and those games for a long time, the only thing stopping me is how much of a time and brain investment it is. i only played 4 one hundred years ago and i still remember how much it made me sweat. there's nothing that scratches that itch the same way.

So they specifically say remaster and not remake, which is fine and logical, but what does that mean when bringing a PS2 game to the Switch (and PS5 etc)?

Non-binary is not a third gender and does not exclude being a lady or a dude. I sincerely hope that helps.

Hm, I’m not sure I’ve met the second non-binary person then. I was hoping there would be more weapons and more variety but it looks like I’m close to the end of the game.

However, I wonder if Jonah the axe is a DLC tease for a scenario where you stick around for the fall.

the game is fun though, i've never played an armored core or anything but boosting around with a katana and lightsaber fighting giant dreadnoughts that transform into dragons owns

Labyrinth of Refrain is a great game in that style of dungeon crawl genre.

Labryinth of Refrain is a loving terrible game. The story is one of the grossest I've ever played through (only beaten by Witch and the Hundred Knight by the same company which features a mouse gang-rape) and the systems are just incredibly clunky and drop based which leads to a ton of grinding.

Do not recommend.

It's so bad, I tried to get into it twice but the combat and team building is so bafflingly awful I can't understand why they designed it that way.

If it does come out count me in. 3 is genuinely a lot of fun and has some cool stuff in it, I liked the missions quite a bit and beat it on my best friends PS2 back in high school. Vice City we did together and had a blast, if they get the songs and remove the loading times it'll be perfect, we unlocked the copter with the mini-gun early on and used it whenever we could. San Andreas is bloated but it has a pretty good map to just drive and chill with.

The first one I actually owned was 4 and I think someone in college stole it, because I never found it after some point, and frankly that's ok. The near 100% urban environment was less interesting to me having done San Andreas.

Is that the creepy game someone posted awhile back where a bunch of tentacle monsters had attack text like "attempts to penetrate every orifice"? Because if so, no amount of good mechanics would make that not be a terrible game.

In Silksong you have map durability. Everytime you take a hit the game erases a random room from your map. The only way to gain map is to return to the main area on foot, fast travel wont work

The protagonist of Witch and the Hundred Knight turns her mother into a mouse and compels other mice to gang-rape her to punish her.

I don't think so, or at least I didn't see that.

The game just had the protagonist be a terrible person who spends her time doing ridiculously over the top evil poo poo. Which is whatever. Then decided to make the main running joke 'a nun wants to gently caress her' and includes multiple scenes where the nun is trying to drug her and molests her! Because constant sexual assault is really, really funny.

I don't agree with this at all. Some games don't really lend themselves well to months of discussion, and there's kind of a baseline of popularity you need to be 'talked about'. Or they get talked about again when they have new content, are released on other systems, etc, which is a bit different than it just happening on its own.
