I've been eyeing them off for a while, good thing about living here the vegan stuff goes on sale a lot and it makes more sense to try them out. I'm also at a point where I far prefer making vegan nachos, can't remember the brand but they use bretroot juice with the textured protein and it's wonderfully tasty. Having a litte of cheese out of sweet potato, coconut cream, nutritional yeast, garlic, onion and sirracha goes wonders and is a mad dipping sauce to boot. snickothemule fucked around with this message at 09:10 on Aug 14, 2021 |

as the threads resident cyclist I dont think they should have to wear masks but also it should be illegal to ride two abreast and they should be murdered if they do so. this has nothing to do with covid and should stay this way for the forseeable future. it should also be illegal to be in front of me at a cafe wearing lycra bike shorts if you don't have at least a 8/10 rear end. thank you.

I did the technic Porsche RSR last lockdown and got my money's worth because I put one piece 1 lug off where it belonged and had to disassemble half the car to fix it.

The beyond burgers were good. They got good char on the webber, which tasted like the char on a meat burger, good texture and juiciness too. With cheese, sauce, tomato etc. they did seem a lot like I remember meat burgers. They're expensive and a bit small but a good change from the black bean burgers we usually make. Would eat again. Bbq'ed zucchini, asparagus and par cooked potato slices were ace.

I just bought to lego space shuttle so the kids can give it to me for my birthday next month. We built the Apollo V together a couple of years ago and at the time it was the same height as my daughter.

Finally got this done after some frustrations with the sprite assets, but I'm sure I'll wake up tomorrow and immediately realise how I could have done it better. Can't stop won't stop, might do DOOM next.

😎 o great luck—was at a Tier 2 site yesterday 5 mins after the exposure window. :/ Well we will find out how good Victoria’s notifications are + effectiveness of 2 masks and second shot Pfizer; also paranoid shoe changing and hand washing+ shower after getting home. Gfdi but not Too Concerned honestly; if I picked it up though then I’m more concerned for everyone without as much paranoia / ocd and other conditions which can actually be beneficial somewhat during a pandemic:(

Close to 3 1/2 days later and I still haven't received my covid result. I think I'm OK, but I think about all those poor workers being told 'go to work instead of waiting for a result' and thinking about how many people they'd spread it to.

There have been a couple of people at work who went and had multiple tests during the last lockdown despite not being sick and not near an exposure site because they were "doing there bit for the testing numbers" but that doesn't really make sense to me. Is that what we're supposed to do?

Yeah unless you're actually feeling under the weather or you've been close proximity to a tier 1/tier 2 site or contact I wouldn't sweat it. I've yet to get the brain tickler but I haven't been sick in ages now and I'm loving loving it. First cold I get is going to literally end me though.

Is that what we're supposed to do? You can be asymptomatic, so if you have been to an exposure site you should get tested. If you are symptomatic with anything like a cold or flu, regardless where you have been because you can catch delta passing someone in the street, you should be tested. There really is no reason to not get a test done.

Just brutal. Got tested immediately the symptoms started showing, of course and it came back negative. It was just that wearing a mask everywhere and sanitising my hands a hundred times a day had turned my immune system into mush.
