Oh yeah, I think there should be an Age of Hell demo but I didn't catch where to get it. I'm also still a little unclear as to whether the game's going to be commercial or just standalone but still free because unlike the Selaco thing, there wasn't a Steam page.

Kult could be good, I like the theme at least, although the real gameplay snippets were too short to judge. Peripetea ui looks.. Deus Ex as gently caress. Then again that's the clear intention. But I don't fully trust them, as immersive sims are not an appropriate genre for super small teams. Warcry looks very time trial based, which isn't my thing. And I don't like that blood splatter. Ripout has an interesting dark scifi aesthetic. project warlock was my favorite of the shooter renaissance and I can't wait for the sequel. i hope they keep the amount of secrets and secret paths up, and continue the dense doom-style map design. the routing you could do in some levels was fantastic

part II Devilated is... intriguing. Lots of a slowmo based gameplay + cool soulbornian aesthetic. Awful title though. Seeing Hrot in the games reel made me check on Steam. It seems it's being developed differently than many other EA fps. Instead of big episodic releases, he is doing a bunch of minor updates, and in July he added a new level and new enemies. I am very down with the number of games I'm seeing that appear to be taking cues from Cruelty Squad's aesthetic. The boomer shooter is dead, a new age of filth is upon us. The cynical asset flips and cash chasing copy cats will act as fuel for the fires that will meld Steam and itch.io into one and merge them into one with the new flesh, where they will then expel endless trash upon all of us forever

While Fortune's Run does indeed look cool as poo poo (I remember when it started as a TC on the ZDoom forums aaaages ago) all the gameplay footage has bugged me because whoever is playing is playing like the sweaty speedrunner guy meme. Like for gently caress's sake chill and let me see the action.

part III Darkadia for now has a good trailer.. but that doesn't imply the game will be good. It was barely shown. Sandsiah looked... Amid Evil-ish? Modern engine, lots of shiny and reflections, enemies with some fantasy & industry theme, etc. But it also looked like it was still very much in development. Zero interest in Unleash Hell. Relentless Frontier looked like the scifi, uninteresting, not-horny version of Hedon, lol. But seriously, bad trailer, focusing on fighting a bunch of small critters is bad choice. Graven 2nd update coming... this year. I don't see Graven releasing until end of 2022, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's delayed a bit more. Sorry Forgive me Father, but I'm tired of the whole 'let's put cultists and things with tentacles' lazy Lovecraftian motif.  No  No, I have to sleep in a pair of hours! The Powerslave port seems good. I've never played it. As someone said, Incision looks Dusk-sy. The FPS documentary thingie seems it's going to be good. Core Decay showed good atmosphere and voiceovers, and it has a System Shock 1 feel maybe? I don't even know how to classify PaperHead?
