In other Aussie clusterfuck news, after 1.5 hours on hold I got through to the government who told me they have lost my application to get a covid vaccine record as a non-medicare holder. It was delivered over two months ago and required several notarised documents etc. Without this vaccine proof I won't be able to go or fly anywhere, assuming our 5km travel limit is ever lifted, which it won't be at this rate.

My buddy just got his third in LA County at a CVS. He just walked up. Used his real name, said it was a first dose, got Moderna right away. So it's not hard. Jump on it everyone. Apparently some old lady there looked him directly in the eyes and said she didn't want to be anywhere near someone only now getting a first dose, lol.

These high level GOP ghouls are too smart and evil to actually believe what they're telling people. While banning mask mandates they're tested twice daily while triple vaccinated and getting intensive pre-emptive medical care the second they test positive. Sure Regeneron might not be effective against delta but Imdevimab still is and I bet Abbot's doctor's know that. Meanwhile Trump was such an actual fool he refused to get tested even after getting visibly sick and resisted care until hospitalization was imminent. And of course he live-tweeted it. It's not happening again, and people getting excited about Abbot's case are setting themselves up for disappointment.
