To even do the postgame you have to do some insane brady games bullshit during the ending that you would never figure out on your own. You get teleprted inside the castle and everyone says “durr talk to the king” who is right in front of you then you lose control if you talk to him. Turns out, you’re supposed to leave the castle, go down a well, leave a key item (you have like 20 of these at this point) in a chest??? Then leave town entirely to talk to a guy you forgot about 80 hours ago who lets you save for some reason…. gently caress you Yuji Hori!!!

What was your final save file time. I looked it up and the Any% record is 15 hours and bizarrely the 3DS version is like 23 hours lol

Dragon Quest XI: hell of an adventure, up there with witcher 3 and bloodborne in my head for possible best game of all time for me. sad that my summer of dq is over but ill be forever glad i did it. 129 hours well spent.

A way out. The gameplay was pretty engaging but there were an awful lot of cutscenes with questionable voice acting. Kinda cool experiment making a purely co-op cinematic action game though

Into the Breach 100% Played non-stop until I finally unlocked the secret squad and was sort of disappointed. Really good though.

Majora's Mask 3DS (all masks) First time playing it since saving up money from my first job to buy the N64 version. Still amazing, was great to play it after playing through OoT as its a brilliant companion to that game. I'm sure there are some sickos who played through MM first but this is still exactly what I wanted after OoT. Favourite parts being - wedding mask quest, stone tower temple, helping Romani ranch all of the final sequence. 3ds changes are a mixed bunch though. Didn't mind changes to Twinmold and Gyorg, new bombers notebook is great, touchscreen menu is good, 3d still looks nice. Zora link not fast swimming change is bad though, I spent ages on the original trying to perfect jumps out of the water onto land and now having limited magic and (I think ) inverted controls breaks the flow for me. Might go back and get the heart pieces. Running out of Zelda games though.
