I have an elgato hd60 s+, and playing through it inside OBS there's a tiny bit of delay but nothing too bad. OBS was actually better than Elgato's app in terms of delay. If you don't have a second monitor your options are limited. What's more surprising to me is how many vtubers don't know they can bring up a secondary window in OBS that just displays one source capture, so they don't have to play with their avatar blocking the view.

The distorted peko in thumbnail is the usual picture used when replying with "ogey" or "rrat" to some yabai post. The rrat bit then got folded with narrative so now conspiracy theories are called rrats (which get ogeys for replies, naturally).
